The difference with these plans is the Saver HDHP has a higher deductible and out-of-pocket maximum. Your premiums for the Saver HDHP Plan will be lower per pay period.

Spending Account IRS Regulation Updates
What's Staying the Same?
Your carriers for the below lines of coverage will remain in force for 2025:
- Medical
- Dental
- Vision
- Life & Disability
- Leave Administration
- Voluntary Benefits
- Spending Accounts
What's New?
New Carrier: Lantern
Beginning January 1, 2026, anyone enrolled the Highmark medical plans and in need of bariatric surgery will be required to go through Lantern. All other surgeries with Lantern are optional. If you get the bariatric surgery outside of Lantern, it will not be covered.
IMPORTANT! 2025 Open Enrollment
This year will be an passive open enrollment, but an active enrollment for the FSA plan.
If you are satisfied with your Medical, Dental, Vision and Voluntary Benefit plan elections, they will automatically roll over to the next plan year. All of your elected dependents and beneficiaries will also automatically roll over. We strongly encourage you to review your elections, dependents, and beneficiaries.
This is the one time out of the year you can make changes for any reason, without needing a qualified life event including:
- Switch to a different plan
- Add or drop coverage
- Add or drop dependents
- Re-enroll in flexible spending accounts (FSAs)
OPTIONAL REMINDERS:
- Contribute to a healthcare or dependent care flexible spending account
- Enroll in voluntary coverages
- Add a dependent(s) to your plan (you will need their Social Security Number and date of birth)
Open Enrollment starts October 28th and goes until November 8th. You must login to Workday to enroll in benefits for the 2025 plan year, starting January 1, 2025. Please click the enrollment resources to get started.
